Shimano Freestyle Rod 25 Resato 1703R-2

Its elegant brilliance is like the twinkling of a star against the pitch black sky.

Make freestyle fishing more elegant and accessible. Resato pursued the keywords "ease of casting" and "operability"—the key concepts that lure anglers around the world find easy to use—to create a unique, lightweight, mid-response blank that combines instant suppleness with quick convergence. From the moment you pick up the rod, you'll be amazed by its excellent balance. Another feature Resato has achieved is the "Extension Grip," included with every model. The extension butt structure, developed with the World Shaula and Scorpion series, allows for the extended fishing style of grip replacement without any additional purchase. By tightening and firmly securing the end piece at the rear of the rod, you can extend the grip length by 150 mm without changing reels, allowing you to enjoy two different games—casting and jigging—with just one rod.

■1703R-2 Designed for power lures like jigs and worms, small big baits, and more. The long casting performance provided by the rod's length makes it ideal for both shore and boat use. The included extension grip ensures stable underarm retrieves.
