Iceland Poppy "Victory Giant Ant Mix for Landscape Use" Seeds, 100ml

Poppies have taproots and do not like to be transplanted, so the easiest way to sow seeds is directly into the soil or by sowing them directly into pots and thinning them out.

[Sowing] Iceland poppy seeds are very tiny. Poppy seeds are photogerminating, so they require light to germinate. Sow seeds without covering them with soil. Before sowing, thoroughly water the potting soil and level it. Sow the seeds on top of the moist potting soil. It is recommended to mix the seeds with river sand or similar for even sowing. After sowing, lightly press the seeds down, and water them when the soil surface begins to dry with a fine mist to prevent the seeds from washing away. [Temperature] The optimum temperature for germination is 15-20°C (soil temperature). *The further away from the optimum temperature, the poorer the germination rate. [Germination] If all conditions are met, germination will occur in about 10 days. This pack contains 100ml of Iceland poppy seeds. Flower colors are a mix of orange, white, and yellow.
