magnesium material spool
By adopting magnesium material, which is a lightweight material used in high-end reel bodies, etc. for the spool, an ultra-lightweight Mg 32mm spool with an average dead weight of about 9.1 g has been achieved. We have achieved a weight reduction of approximately 36% compared to genuine ZENON Core spools. SW compatible
The magnesium material has low corrosion resistance and is vulnerable to use in SW, but by applying special surface treatment, we have achieved corrosion resistance that can be used in SW.
*For use in SW, it is the same as the reel body being used, so please check whether the reel body is compatible with seawater.
cam type movable plate
A cam-type movable plate is mounted on the brake side. As the number of revolutions of the spool increases, the movable plate pops out onto the brake side. By increasing the number of magnetic flux lines hitting the movable plate, it is now possible to apply stronger brakes when the number of revolutions is high. When the number of revolutions of the spool decreased, the movable plate returned to its original position, the brakes weakened, and extension in the second half was achieved. Growth in the second half was achieved along with braking force that suppresses initial rotation.
