■XT Classical Strings

Combining composite strings—which offer superior string life and tuning stability compared to the nylon core strings used in EXP strings—with the latest micro-coating technology, and Pro-Arté treble strings renowned for their precise intonation, we have finally created a long-lasting string that combines the natural tone and touch feel of uncoated strings, something previously considered difficult to achieve.

The XT series achieves unprecedented longevity through its unique coating technology. It boasts superior performance in strength, pitch stability, and corrosion resistance—unprecedented by previous coated strings.

The new coating technology of the XT series enables the application of an extremely thin micro-polymer coating to all types of strings through a unique new process.

Corrosion tests have shown higher corrosion resistance compared to the previous EXP series coated strings, resulting in a string with a longer lifespan and higher corrosion resistance, yet maintaining a natural sound and feel reminiscent of uncoated strings.

While the EXP series outsourced the wire coating process to an external technology company, the XT series features a new, in-house coating facility.

This allows the entire manufacturing process to be completed within our own facilities, eliminating the need for unnecessary transport and packaging, and ensuring that the freshly made wire is coated in optimal condition.
