As a musical term, "counterpoint" means "combining two or more independent melodies into a single harmonic texture, each maintaining linearity", similar to the collaboration of the Flensted Mobiles family. How to take care of your mobile phone? For mobile devices made of cardboard, simply dust them with a soft brush. Wood, aluminum, and plastic mobiles can be wiped down with a cloth dampened with a few drops of mild detergent. How long will my mobile last? One person called us and said they inherited the Science Fiction Mobile from her grandmother who had it for 30 years. Our family has had the same mobile hanging system for over 20 years. Can I hang my phone outdoors? no. It is not recommended to apply it on the outside, as it is very sensitive to the simplest air blows. Will my phone fade? Many of our mobiles use plastic foil. This material is lightfast and easy to clean. Other phones are made of cardboard. Even if you use the highest quality cardboard, it will fade over the years. Red fades more than blue. Hanging your phone out of direct sunlight will delay fading. When hanging your phone, try a different location. Consider the following suggestions: 1. Mobile is designed to be a feast for the eyes and a stimulus to the imagination. Please hang it out of reach of children. It's not a toy. 2. To avoid fading or distorting the shape, please do not expose it to direct sunlight. 3. Please hang it where there is air movement but no strong gaps. Slow and quiet movement is the essence of mobile. Please do not hang it outdoors. 4. Hang your mobile in a practical location with a calm and uniform background. Corner positions are often found against light-colored walls. 5. If possible, hang it from a lamp to a light. The shadow that the mobile casts on the walls and ceiling gives the mobile another dimension to which it is exposed. Candles are a concentrated light source that creates sharp, well-defined shadows. 6. Hang your phone where you can see it while listening to music. You can see the mobile movement to the rhythm of the music.
