I purchased this online when it was released, and have stored it in a dark place as it arrived. The decorative paper is also as it was when I received it. I don't think there is any particular damage to the decorative paper, but since it has been a considerable amount of time since I obtained it, please purchase it with the understanding that it is a used item that has been in someone's hands.
