The new face of Vandoren reeds. The "V21 Reed" This reed combines the cut of the V.12 with the narrow-heeled conical design of the Lepic 56. It produces a well-balanced, warm, deep sound across the entire range, with a responsive, solid sound that resonates far away. It also has the advantage of being able to produce wide-spaced leaps with a uniform, rich tone. This reed became a favorite among many performers when it was first released for B♭ clarinets.
