The year is 202X, a slightly future. "Cyberglasses" are all the rage among children. These "cyberglasses" are an essential accessory, capable of connecting to the internet and displaying various information from anywhere in the city. They have become as common as modern cell phones, and almost every child owns one. The story takes place in Daikoku City, an ancient capital lined with historic shrines and temples, yet a provincial city with the latest cyber infrastructure.
With her final summer vacation at elementary school approaching, Okogi Yuko has to move to Daikoku City due to her father's work. There she meets another "Yuko," Amasawa Yuko.
They have the same name and age, but are completely different types. At her new school, she meets unique children and experiences a series of strange events unfolding in cyberspace.
