[USED] Jacques Dupin, Giacometti: For an Approach, Gendai Shichosha.

When Giacometti's collection of works was published in 1962, his close friend and poet, Dupin, contributed a text to the book. In 1991, the text was extracted from the collection and published as a book. This is the Japanese translation. This Japanese version adds illustrations not found in the original. The translation was done by the veteran translator Kanako Yoshida. She also added an extensive afterword, making this Japanese version more comprehensive than the French version. Regardless, this is a must-read for anyone interested in Giacometti.

This is the first edition from 1999. Despite its age, it's in near-perfect condition. The cover is protected by clear plastic. Please see the photo.
