Improved Material Properties of the VST Ceramic Tweeter: The material properties of the ceramic element of our proprietary laminated ceramic tweeter, the VST, have been changed to a more linear material (PZT: titanium oxide ceramic), similar to that of the intime Ao-Ti3, reducing higher-order inharmonic sounds. Originally, the VST was a super tweeter primarily focused on reproducing sounds outside the audible range. However, by improving linearity and reducing inharmonic sounds, effective overtones are obtained, resulting in a pleasant mid-to-high range sound while maintaining the high resolution of previous models.
Stainless Steel Full Body: The material and shape of the housing that secures the sound unit have a significant impact on acoustic characteristics. Material has a particularly large impact on sound, and it is generally believed that using a heavier material can suppress excessive vibrations. To address the weight issue of the previous model, this product uses stainless steel for the housing, which has excellent vibration-damping properties, and has also revised the internal structure of the housing (reducing the housing weight by 16%). Furthermore, heat treatment has been applied to increase the material rigidity, resulting in a housing with excellent vibration-damping properties and scratch resistance. With increased rigidity, acoustic transmission speed has also improved, allowing the intime Ao-2 to achieve higher resolution than its predecessor.
Graphene-Coated Woofer: The woofer, which plays a central role in these earphones, employs the graphene-coated woofer renowned in the "intime Kirameki." This woofer is characterized by its clear mid- and high-frequency reproduction. It reproduces crystal-clear, clear sound that surpasses the mid- and high-frequency characteristics of the previous intime Ao.
HDSS® Technology: Like the intime Ao-Ti3, the "intime Ao-2" employs HDSS® technology, a patented technology from TBI Audio Systems LLC of the United States. This technology streamlines the flow of sound inside the housing and suppresses polarized vibrations that affect the woofer. Using HDSS® technology, we've meticulously tuned the balance between the resolution of the newly developed ceramic tweeter VST and the mid- and high-frequency characteristics of the graphene-coated woofer, achieving well-defined bass and a mid- and high-frequency reproduction that perfectly harmonizes with the bass. Another appealing feature of HDSS(R) is its wide sound field spatial expression.
Original ear hooks includedWe have developed our first original ear hooks, taking into consideration improving the fit to your ear and reducing cable touch noise. The cable's structure prevents it from coming loose and the moderately soft material will increase the enjoyment of listening to earphones every day.
