The AWM-500 series is G-SHOCK's first analog-digital model, fully crafted from metal. This model faithfully recreates the design of the AW-500-1E, G-SHOCK's first analog-digital combination model released in 1989. Arabic numerals are used for the 15, 30, and 45-minute displays. The bezel, case, and band are treated with a black IP coating, recreating the original color scheme. The band features a rounded metal bracelet with rounded links to recreate the shape of the AW-500. The case back is screw-down. Equipped with radio wave reception and Tough Solar, it also offers practical features such as a high-brightness full-auto double LED light and world time display.
