Description

Since its launch in 1983, G-SHOCK, the tough watch brand that has continued to evolve in pursuit of relentless strength, has introduced the AWG-M520 series, a revival of classic models with added new features. The AW-500, launched in 1989 as G-SHOCK's first analog-digital combination model, overturned the conventional notion that analog watches, due to their numerous small parts like hands and gears, were vulnerable to shocks. While retaining its round case design and simple, flat band, this new model features radio reception and Tough Solar technology. The lineup includes three models: the AWG-M520, which faithfully reproduces the original design; the AWG-M520BB, finished in all black; and the AWG-M520G, finished in black with pink gold accents. This G-SHOCK classic is being revived with enhanced functionality.
