This product recreates the No. 27 locomotive after its renovation in September 2006.
It recreates the second-generation No. 27 locomotive's distinctive features, as well as the skirt, featuring the addition of a former air dam pipe, a feature of freighter locomotives.
It also recreates the step at the bottom of the car caused by the removal of the side paneling during renovation, the relocated manufacturing nameplate, and the decorative band on the front, which has a different division position.
It also recreates the gray-painted roof above the driver's cab and shoulders, the air conditioner and GPS antenna installed above the driver's cab, and the train radio antenna, which is installed in a different position from other locomotives.
It also recreates the silver light rims and the JR mark with the "FREIGHT" logo on the side of the driver's cab.
Its headlights light up (using warm white LEDs).
It includes a quick headmark. It also includes the quick headmarks "Takara Container Express" and "Thanks to you, 50 years of railway container transport."
Its slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet running.
License plate, front handrail, whistle, train radio antenna, and release lever are all pre-installed.
The manufacturer's plate reads "Kawasaki Heavy Industries/Fuji Electric," the safety device notation reads "SF" and "PF," and the inspection notation reads "27-6 Hiroshima car."
