Following on from last time, we spoke with actor Yutaka Miki, who played Detective Taku Hojo, also known as Joe, a highly requested character in the "Seibu Keisatsu Personal" series. In the previous issue, we heard about his joining Ishihara Productions, his debut in the entertainment industry, and his days filming the "Seibu Keisatsu" series. This time, we'll talk about his miraculous battle with cancer, which saw him miraculously survive despite being given only one month to live. Coincidentally, Ishihara Productions' president and entertainment industry veteran, Yujiro Ishihara, and his successor, Tetsuya Watari, also experienced the same serious illness. He talks about how he himself came to fight the same disease, his feelings toward Yujiro and Watari after that experience, and his current views on life and death. Also appearing in the interview is Kaoru Koda, who played the role of Asahina, the niece of "Corner Lounge," also known as "Kadoya," the bar frequented by Chief Kogure Kenzo in "Seibu Keisatsu."
