Last year, Koji Tamaki celebrated his double anniversary, the 35th anniversary of his solo debut and the 40th anniversary of his debut with Anzenchitai, energetically performing live shows and releasing albums. The release of the live video box set "Koji Tamaki 35th Anniversary Concert Special Collections "Arcadia" & "Starry Path"" features two performances from each of the two live tours commemorating his 35th anniversary.
This release features two performances: a special additional performance at Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater from the "billboard classics Tamaki Koji 35th ANNIVERSARY LEGENDARY SYMPHONIC CONCERT 2022 "Arcadia -Utopia-," where he captivated the audience with his performance with an orchestra; and the thunderously cheered Sendai performance from the "Tamaki Koji Concert Tour 2022 Hometown Orchestra 35th ANNIVERSARY ~Hoshido~," where he showcased a number of masterpieces with a band.
While this was his first performance at Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater in approximately 22 years, Tamaki Koji has a deep connection with the theater, and there is an anecdote about how he once visited the site, which was under construction at the time, and sang in front of the workers with guitar in hand,
boosting their morale. Not only was the performance filled with passion and a soul-stirring performance, but the curtain call was followed by a surprise, massive fireworks display in the night sky, making for an incredibly moving performance. Additionally, "Koji Tamaki Concert Tour 2022 Hometown Orchestra 35th ANNIVERSARY ~Hoshido~" is an important tour that could be considered the origin of his career.
