The second album of classic songs composed by Koji Tamaki, "Koji Tamaki's Musical World II," is scheduled for release on Wednesday, April 16th. Following the release of "Koji Tamaki's Musical World" last December, attention has once again been drawn to his overwhelming talent as a melody maker. "Koji Tamaki's Musical World II" features a total of 24 songs, spanning a wide range of genres and generations, from well-known hits to rare songs. Among them, Takehara Pistol's "Mannen Yokei no Daikouenn" (The Great Cheer of the Mannen Yokei) was born when Koji Tamaki composed music for a poem by Takehara Pistol and was recorded specifically for this album. The cover photo for this album is also a painting by Koji Tamaki himself. The album also includes liner notes by lyricist Goro Matsui, with whom he has collaborated on many albums.
