The VideoMic Go II Helix is ​​a highly versatile, ultra-lightweight on-camera microphone suitable for a variety of recording styles.

It features the new RØDE-developed HELIX™ isolation mount, which holds the microphone body securely while effectively blocking noise from the camera and installation location.

It is smaller and lighter than the previous shock mount, making it easier to handle.

In addition to the analog output via a 3.5mm TRS connector for on-camera use, it also has a digital output via a USB-C connector, so it can be used as a USB microphone* by connecting it to a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet, or a PC.

When connected via the USB-C connector, you can control recording from various RØDE apps, as well as adjust settings such as input gain, pad and high-pass filter.

In windy environments, the optional WS12 windshield can be used to reduce wind noise and the HF boost reduces muffled sound when worn.

When using the USB-C output, you can monitor microphone audio (this can be turned on/off in the app) and listen to audio output from the connected device via the 3.5mm TRS connector.
