The Hakone Tozan Railway is one of Japan's most authentic mountain railways, boasting the steepest gradient of 80‰ (per mille) for a adhesion railway, a sharp curve with a 30m radius, and three switchbacks.
The Moha 3 series has long been the face of the Hakone Tozan Railway.
The last Moha 3 series was retired in 1997 with No. 114.
This product comes as a two-car set: No. 114, with its bogies replaced with TS110A, and No. 115, equipped with distinctive plate-frame bogies.
By using a separately sold power unit and N-gauge running parts, it can be operated as an N-gauge model train.
We recommend the TM-22 (14m class C) power unit, TT-03R running parts set, and PT4816AMN [0257] or PG16 [0238] pantograph.
