The 4K restoration of "Terminator 2 3D" made waves in theaters in 2017. The original 1991 theatrical release was restored by Cameron's own production company, Lightstorm, under his own supervision, and released in theaters worldwide.

[Story] In a post-nuclear war, a battle rages between the machine army and the human army. The machine army sends the latest Terminator, the T-1000, to Los Angeles in 1994, hoping to travel back in time and kill John Connor, the future leader of the human army, while he was still a young boy. Meanwhile, the human army sends another Terminator, the T-800, to protect John. The battle between two Terminators begins now!
