Tyrannosaurus was a carnivorous dinosaur that lived in North America approximately 70 to 66 million years ago. It belonged to a genus of large theropods. It is also known as Tyrannosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, or Tyrannosaurus. With a maximum length of about 13 meters and a maximum weight of about 9 tons, it is considered one of the largest theropod species ever reported to date. It lived in the North American continent of Laramidia for the last 4 million years of its life before becoming extinct at the King-Pagland boundary. It is extremely famous and considered one of the most well-known dinosaurs, frequently appearing in various dinosaur-themed works such as "Jurassic Park." On the other hand, many aspects of its ecology remain unknown, and coupled with the diversity of new theories, it is a dinosaur that is constantly debated. It is also often cited as a symbol of extinction, representing the end of the dinosaur age.
