Compared to organic shapes that make contact with the ear over a large surface area, we aimed for a fit without pressure by using a shape that limits the contact area. The A2000 housing provides a stable fit by being held at three points. These are one point in the pink area (ear pocket) in the diagram below, one point in the green area (eartip), and one point in the blue area (tragus), for a total of three points. Therefore, it fits most people's ears.
