[Explanation] 20 years have passed since the "Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger" TV series, and 10 years since "10 YEARS AFTER." In a truly unexpected turn of events, a new original "Hurricaneger" series has been created for the 20th anniversary. This time, the setting is the late Edo period. The "Hurricaneger" = ninja concept is realized through the production of Toei's Kyoto Studio in a period drama setting that seems like it should have existed before but never did!

The main cast reunites, each playing two roles—modern and Edo period characters—embodying heroes who transcend time and space. The speedy and dazzling ninja action, performed by the cast themselves, is a must-see! The five ninja ancestors of the Hurricanegers engage in a fierce battle against the strongest and most evil enemies of the "Ura Shichihonyari" (Seven Underworld Spears), Oiranda & Aungja, over the "Tensho Stone," which is said to destroy the world.

[Story] In the Edo period, the Hayate-ryu ninjas Takanosuke (Shun Shioya), Nami (Nao Nagasawa), and Kotaro (Kohei Yamamoto), along with Ikkaku (Yujiro Shirakawa) and Ichiga (Nobuo Kyo) of the Jinrai-ryu, are confronted by Oiranda Aungja, one of the "Seven Underworld Spears," who attacks Princess Teruhime, whom the two Jinrai-ryu fighters are guarding. Aungja is after the "Heavenly Soaring Stone," said to possess the power to destroy the world, which Teruhime possesses. Ikkaku and Ichiga are no match for Aungja, and just when all hope seems lost, the Hurricanegers and Gouraigers, who have time-slipped from the future, suddenly appear and engage in a fierce battle.
