・These forged pegs are made by heating round steel material to approximately 1100°C until it is red-hot, then instantaneously crushing the cross-section into an elliptical shape with a force of about 1 ton. Applying strong pressure to the heated steel results in pegs with superior strength. ・Ordinary round pegs tend to spin in the ground, making them difficult to use, but the elliptical pegs provide good penetration even in hard ground mixed with gravel and stones, and fix firmly without spinning. ・The direction of the rope pull is designed with a thicker material for robust resistance. ・The areas where the rope makes contact are trimmed to prevent the rope from being cut by burrs, with meticulous attention to detail. ・Highly hard, glossy chrome plating with low atmospheric corrosion. The overall length of 184mm is a convenient size for inner tents and leisure sheets.
