[Product Overview]
The 7Artisans 50mm F1.2 APS-C is a manual focus prime lens compatible with APS-C sensors. Despite its compact design, it achieves a large aperture of F1.2, allowing for dramatic background blur and striking subject highlighting. Furthermore, the indicators are coated with phosphorescent paint for improved visibility in low light conditions. The integrated sliding lens hood ensures both portability and practicality.
50mm (equivalent to approximately 75mm in 35mm format) is a medium telephoto angle of view suitable for portrait photography. It makes it easy to capture facial expressions and upper bodies with natural perspective, and the in-focus area is sharp while the background is softly blurred, resulting in a three-dimensional image. Because it allows you to emphasize the subject while appropriately tidying up the background, it is suitable not only for portraits but also for product photography and small object photography.
The large aperture of F1.2 allows you to blur the background significantly and make the subject stand out. At wide open aperture, you can create a soft and atmospheric expression, while stopping down improves overall resolution, allowing for different rendering styles depending on the application. In addition, because it can capture a lot of light, it is easier to maintain a fast shutter speed even in dark places, which helps reduce camera shake and subject blur.
The aperture ring has click stops, allowing for intuitive and reliable adjustment of the aperture value. Furthermore, it features an integrated sliding lens hood. This eliminates the hassle of attaching and detaching it, allowing for smooth switching between storage and use as needed.
A metal barrel combining high quality and robustness. The indicators are coated with phosphorescent paint, ensuring excellent visibility even in dark places. This ensures operability even at night or in dimly lit environments.
