Kenko Starry Night Pro Softon 62mm Soft Filter Light Pollution Reduction Softening Slim Frame Made in 549698 - + Effect, Design, Japan, [Special

[Light pollution reduction + softening effect in one filter.] This effect filter combines the effects of "Starry Night" and "Pro Softon," which are often in combination when shooting astrophotography, into a single filter. [Effect 1: Light pollution reduction effect that suppresses color cast caused by streetlights] Streetlights such as sodium lamps and mercury lamps can cause the night sky to appear yellow or orange in photos, but "Starry Pro Softon" cuts out only the light of specific frequencies that correspond to these, enabling natural color reproduction. [Effect 2: Soft effect that highlights constellations while keeping the landscape and background clear] This soft effect beautifully blurs bright stars, making constellations stand out. "Starry Pro Softon" has an effect equivalent to "Pro Softon Clear". It applies the soft effect only to point light sources such as stars and has little impact on the surrounding landscape, making it suitable for astrophotography or when you don't want to apply a soft effect to anything other than stars. [One filter provides the effect of two, making it less prone to vignetting and ideal for wide-angle photography] The "Starry Pro Softon" filter provides the effect of two filters in one, making it less prone to vignetting when shooting with wide-angle lenses and eliminating the hassle of stacking filters and the risk of flare. [Amazon Exclusive Packaging for a Special Feel] This Amazon-exclusive model features a filter case packaged differently from the standard version.
