This infrared temperature sensor is designed to measure non-metal surfaces only. To measure metallic surfaces, apply high-temperature tape or paint to create a suitable target area.
Target Requirements: The target surface must be larger than 10mm in diameter and either stationary or moving slowly. Not recommended for fast-moving objects.
