It is ideal for shooting environments where the camera is likely to be subjected to strong water pressure, dirt, and impacts, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, motocross, and skiing. With the waterproof back door attached, it provides waterproof performance up to a depth of 60m. You can shoot in depths exceeding the camera's standard waterproof depth, recording underwater scenery and diving experiences. Because it is a transparent housing, you can check the image and shooting status on the front LCD while it is attached. The lens area uses flat glass and is designed to capture clear, high-quality images both underwater and on land. You can operate the camera buttons while the housing is attached, so you can start/stop recording and change modes. A skeleton back door suitable for use on land is also included. Compared to using the waterproof back door, it is easier to capture sound and access the rear touchscreen. However, since the skeleton back door is not waterproof, always use the waterproof back door for underwater photography. The protective housing, skeleton back door, mounting buckle, and thumbscrew are included and can be attached to compatible GoPro mounts.
