How to Install:
1. Remove engine cover and intake pipe.
2. Disconnecting all of electrical connectors.
3. Lift up intake manifold to expose knock sensor.
4. Pry to remove the broken knock sensors.
5. Install new knock sensors back to the manifold.
6. Install back every parts back. Finished.
Can you drive with a bad knock sensor?
If the knock sensor fails, the PCM may not recognize or correct spark knock. As a result, you may hear a metallic pinging noise from the engine. The noise is often most noticeable when the engine is under a heavy load.
