For both wired and wireless use: When you want to easily listen to music from your smartphone or PC, you can connect it via Bluetooth and use it as wireless headphones.When you want to connect it to a headphone amplifier, etc. and enjoy it thoroughly, you can use it as wired headphones by using the included cable (3.5mm stereo mini plug cable / 6.3mm stereo plug adapter). Balanced connections are also supported, so if you use a compatible cable*, you can play music with higher quality sound. *The included cable does not support balanced connections.
Adopts a planar magnetic drive driver: While a typical dynamic driver applies partial driving force to the diaphragm to cause it to vibrate, a planar drive driver reproduces sound by applying a uniform magnetic driving force to the entire surface of the diaphragm. This results in flat, ideal vibrations from the bass to treble ranges, and a response with low distortion and little phase disturbance.
Equipped with a dedicated DAC/driver amplifier IC: The DAC (Digital-Analog Converter) and driver amplifier are separated from the Bluetooth audio system and equipped with a dedicated IC chip manufactured by ESS Technology in the United States.
