Sleeping Queens Board Game
Size : 200g - 91mm x 61mm x 61mm
A card game designed by French board game designers Olivia, Bruno, and Bruno Cathala;
A dream come true, this fast-paced game with simple rules (making it a fun board game for children ages 6 and up) is perfect for families.
The goal is to awaken 12 sleeping princesses, and the player with the most princesses wins. The simple rules make it easy for both children and adults to understand and enjoy. The short game time of approximately 20-30 minutes makes it ideal for those seeking a game that requires focus and strategy in short bursts. Each player must utilize cards to awaken princesses or disrupt other players' cards. This process naturally enhances memory and strategic thinking, greatly contributing to children's brain development. Communication with other players is essential throughout the game, and this interaction strengthens relationships with family and friends.
One drawback is that the game's progression relies heavily on cards, making luck a significant factor, and the outcome can vary based on luck rather than strategy. ^^
It can be played with a minimum of two to five players, but with two players, the game's strategic nature can be somewhat lacking and it can become monotonous.
Sleeping Queens is a game that can be enjoyed by children ages 6 and up, as well as adults, making it particularly suitable for family gaming gatherings or social games with friends.
Children can naturally learn concentration, memory, and social skills through the game, while adults can develop strategic thinking in a short period of time.
Attached is a customer review from Korea: My kids really love this game. My second-grader plays Mensa Board after school, and she said it was fun, so I bought it for her. It comes with cards and a guide, and she explained the rules to me, making it easy to play together.
I bought this a while ago, and it's already worn out from how much I've played it. Haha. But my kids really love it. I have a six-year-old younger sibling. At first, he didn't quite understand the rules and would cry when the queen was stolen. But he got used to it in just two days, and now he asks me to play a game with him every morning before kindergarten.
It's so cute how he plays it without crying when the queen is stolen. Haha. It's so cute how his little hands wiggle the cards. Haha. Whenever I travel, I always pack a few board games, and this has become my favorite.
It's so easy that I can share it with my friends in less than five minutes. The whole family can play, even two people. There's no limit on the number of players.
To put it simply, the queen card is dealt face down, and each player has five cards. Each player uses a king, knight, jester, or number card to wake the queen, steal her, count the number of cards, or trade cards. They put the queen to sleep with a potion card, and defend with a dragon or magic wand card. The game ends when all the queen cards are gone. The game is about adding up the scores of each Awakened Queen card and whoever has the highest wins.
Buy one for your kids to easily become friends with them. Kiki, the kids played so well that the cards look worn in the photo. Haha. This is a late review, so it's a genuine one.
