This faithful model of the F-14D is based on meticulous research into the actual aircraft. Every characteristic of the D-14 is faithfully recreated, from the engine nozzles and vertical stabilizer to the panel lines of each fuselage. The cockpit interior is also meticulously recreated, including glass instruments and an ejection seat different from the A-14. The distinctive swing-wing wings move in unison. The Phoenix, Sparrow, and Sidewinder air-to-air missiles are recreated in their later versions. In addition to drop tanks, a wide variety of weapons are included, including laser-guided bombs, GPS-guided bombs, lantern pods, reconnaissance camera pods, and jamming pods. The pilot and radar interceptor officer figures are all new. Four marking options are included, including canopy masking stickers. Includes a manual for the actual aircraft.
