Born in 1975 in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture. Currently living in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. From the age of 16, he trained as a chef in the Japanese cuisine department of a hotel for four years, and then worked as a salaryman in the service industry for 10 years. After retiring, while working as a kitchen staff member at a cafe restaurant, she started a blog in May 2005 called "Kou-chan's Easy Cooking Recipes," which became a huge hit, especially among women! Her first recipe book, "Kou-chan's Easy Cooking Recipes," was released in April 2006, and the series has sold over one million copies in total, an unprecedented feat for a cookbook.
