This is a faithful reproduction of the helmet-style heat cap used by the French Army and Foreign Legion in extreme heat. Unisex, one size fits all. This helmet was commonly used by the French Army and Foreign Legion in combat in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Three ventilation holes on the top and each side prevent stuffiness.
