Pointec, a German watch manufacturer that names its brands after historical airships and fighter planes, has established the brand BAUHAUS in 2019, in addition to ZEPPELIN and IRON ANNIE. Now, a new, higher-end model, Bauhaus Aviation, has been released from Bauhaus.
The 2774-2QZ is a three-register quartz chronograph wristwatch inspired by the Tornado fighter jet operated by the German Air Force. A date calendar is subtly incorporated at the 4:30 position. The white Arabic numerals and red hands stand out against the black dial, giving it a modern look.
The clear black dial features large, contrasting white numerals and striking hands, ensuring excellent legibility and allowing you to read the time at a glance. Especially in the dark, the Luminova luminous paint is clearly visible, and the green glowing hands and indices are reminiscent of cockpit instruments at night, evoking the world of the Tornado fighter jet from which it derives its name.
The brushed stainless steel case gives it a sophisticated look. The overall design is completed by a leather strap with brown stitching and the "TORNADO" logo engraved on it. It adds an elegant, classic feel to the watch while also highlighting its stylishness and providing a comfortable fit on the wrist. Furthermore, it is equipped with a high-precision quartz movement manufactured by Citizen Miyota of Japan, ensuring reliable performance.
