[Paper (Steamer-Specific Paper)] This prevents food juices from directly touching the inside bottom of the steamer, thus preventing staining from direct contact. (※This does not completely prevent staining.) The steamer paper has obtained an Import Food Testing Certificate [Token Shokuhatsu No. 0062207-0057] from the Toyomi Research Institute, Food and Environmental Science Center, Tokyo Microscope Institute, in accordance with Japan's Food Sanitation Law, so you can use it safely and with peace of mind.
[Steamer Usage Instructions] ① Before using a new steamer, soak it in water for 10-15 minutes and wash it lightly with a dishwashing sponge. It is best not to use detergent, but if you are concerned, wash it with a diluted dishwashing detergent that does not create foam. ② Fill a pot with plenty of water and steam the steamer empty. The abundant steam will moisten the steamer and allow the components to become familiar with each other. ③ When using, place the moistened steamer basket on top of a pot of warm water, then add the ingredients and cover with a lid. For gas stoves, medium to slightly strong heat is suitable, not high heat. Adjust the heat while watching the amount of steam coming out of the lid. For induction cooktops, the voltage and other specifications are different, so please refer to the gas stove instructions above. ④ Steaming time varies depending on the type of ingredients, so check the doneness from time to time by inserting a bamboo skewer. Place ingredients that take a long time to steam and non-vegetables on the lower rack, and ingredients that cook easily on the upper rack. If the ingredients are difficult to cook through, it is recommended to switch the upper and lower racks halfway through.
